The Elite Home Business Opportunity!

For over 30 years, I worked for someone else. Like many of you, I became frustrated with the lack of control over my professional and, especially, my personal life. Almost 4 years ago, I made the decision to take control of my life and started my home business. In the beginning, I had a few "bumps and bruises" as I sorted through all the various business opportunities. Then I was blessed to find a couple of home businesses, one which is Passport to Wealth, that changed my life. Today, I control when I work and how long all from the comforts of my home. Workathomegem.com was created to provide information, guidance, and a HOME for anyone seeking to begin a home business. We intend to provide the most relevant trends in the industry and will provide monthly newsletters on the best opportunities available. Over time, this site will describe some of the home businesses I operate, like Passport to Wealth. But my primary intention is to provide quality information for those seeking to begin, or expand, their home business and find the freedom (both financial and personal) I have been blessed to find (yes, that is me in the picture). You have my commitment that we will consistently research the industry, and along with your feedback and input, keep this site current so that anyone interested in the home business industry will know they have a place to call home! Any time you wish to contact me, please do so at info@workathomegem.com.

VoIP Technology

VoIP, Voice over Internet Protocol, takes analog signals when you talk on the phone and turns into digital data which can be transmitted over the Internet. If you’ve never hear of VoIP, you need to be ready to change how you think about long distance phone calls. VoIP, is the future in long distance communications. So why the change? With VoIP software to make Internet phone calls, you by pass the phone companies (in many cases) and their charges. This revoluntionary technology has the potential to completely revamp the world’s phone system. But VoIP is not entirely new. Most likely your current LAN line phone company is making VoIP calls when you place long distance calls and have been for several years. Phone companies use VoIP technology to streamline their networks by rounting all their calls through a circuit switch into an IP gateway. By doing this they can significantly reduce their bandwidth to handle more calls. So the future of VoIP technology makes sense for the future both economically and any infrastructure needs. More businesses are installing VoIP software systems so the popularity is growing. However the biggest growth appears to be in the homes. The biggest reason for the change to VoIP technology is the flexibility of use and the reduction in cost to the consumer. Also, equipment technology is advancing allowing home users to have video phones so they can see who they are calling while they talk to them. Think about all the applications this could open up! Grandparents who live across the country can now see their grandchildren every time they call.

If you haven’t heard of VoIP yet, begin to research it as VoIP technology is here and growing!
